For His Glory
Sometimes we are born into certain life situations which leave us wondering "why?". If not born into them, we face them a bit later on in life. Recently I was talking to a good friend/sister of mine named Angel😇💕💫(be sure to check her out on the gram @angel.nakai 😂❤), and we were just coming up with possible reasons as to why we go through or face difficult things which seem almost impossible to overcome. Why God has allowed them to fall upon us and when they'll end.
For example, (read John 9:1-12)
Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind
"As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. 2 “Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?”
3 “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him."
"So the power of God could be seen in him".
God wants His glory to be seen through you and one thing I know about God is that He would never let you go through something that He knows you can't handle. He would never allow you to enter a bad situation that He knows you can't come out of. He would never let you face a problem that you can't overcome. The reason why He has allowed for that situation, problem or circumstance is because He knows you can and you will overcome.
Some people are stronger as compared to others, which is why when we look at each others situations it appears as if someone has it easy or someone has it harder than everyone else but the intensity situations can't be compared. A man living in a mansion may seem to be better off than a man living in the streets but that man in the mansion has his own problems too. Problems that the man in the streets would never think of because he is blinded by the wealth he sees that man having. Problems that he wouldn't be able to deal with himself because we are different. The man in the mansion will feel sorry for the man in the street because he cannot see beyond his physical sight. His spirit is blind, and cannot see what God has in store for this man in street, for God's glory to be seen! If he would just allow God to work in and through him.
Your life is testimony, and God just wants you to need Him. That moment you surrender and acknowledge that only He is God, the great I am. When you place your life in his hands, let go and let God. Only then will He step in to help you because you cannot do it alone.
In the book of Job in the Old Testament we see a man named Job. Job is a wealthy man living in a land called Uz with his large family and extensive flocks. He is “blameless” and “upright,” always careful to avoid doing evil (1:1). One day, Satan (“the Adversary”) appears before God in heaven. God boasts to Satan about Job’s goodness, but Satan argues that Job is only good because God has blessed him abundantly. Satan challenges God that, if given permission to punish the man, Job will turn and curse God. God allows Satan to torment Job to test this bold claim, but he forbids Satan to take Job’s life in the process.
Job was shaken but not destroyed. He went through many things for God's glory to be shown. God allowed satan to try his luck on Job and because He allowed for this to happen this means that God never left Job alone. He was always with him and kept him strong through it all. He knew that His good and faithful servant would not fall, but stand by God's word and promises for His Glory to be shown and for many more blessing to also fall upon Job's life. In the end the Lord blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the first (Job 42:12-16) by doubling his sheep, camels, yoke and oxen. He had 7 sons and 3 daughters. Nowhere in the land were there found women as beautiful as Job's daughters. Job also lived to 140 years and he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.
Remember everyone , YOU ARE NOT ALONE. God is with you. He gots you😊💫 and He will never leave you. We should be proud that He works through us. We are the vessels of His power. His promises are true and when we stand strong by Him, he always comes through to give us what He promised us.
"8 We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. 9 We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. 10 Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies."
- 2 Corinthians 4:8-10
