White snakes

I had a dream that we were living with a white snake in our home. It wasn’t the actual home we live in now but in the dream it was as if it was our home. The snake was enormous in size, it lived with us and we would go on about life as if everything was normal. Nobody seemed to be uncomfortable, bothered or offended by its presence. One day, in the dream, I got really angry and asked the people I was living with if I was the only one who was not happy with this white snake we were living with, was I the only one who didn’t want it around? They responded to me by saying “oh there’s nothing wrong with this one because it’s white”.  When I woke up the next morning, I was extremely disturbed and my spirit was troubled because I wondered if there was such a thing as snakes that aren’t a threat to our lives simply on the basis of what colour they are. I discussed the dream with my fiancΓ© and my mum and we came down to the conclusion that no, A SNAKE IS A SNAKE! “And I will cause hostilit...

The correctional side of love

Lately, everyone has been on this "Love your neighbour" tip. Which is very good because "love your neighbour" is the second greatest commandment that we were given by our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. The first being to love your God with all your heart, soul and mind. This commandment is mentioned many times in the Bible. However, it seems as though when people think of this word "love", they come up with their own definitions of it. Love cannot fit into a box. I say this because the word of God tells us that God is love (1 John 4:16) and God cannot fit into a box. So you cannot love unless you know God. How do you get to know God? By meditating on His word and seeking Him through prayer. God is infinite, therefore love is infinite. There is so much to consider when we think of love. One side of love that I've noticed a lot of people like to ignore or disregard is the correctional and disciplinary side of love. These days discipline and correction ...

Because you are strong

" ... I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one." 1 John 2:14 NIV Hey guys! Long time. Life's been hectic. I've been going through a season of personalizing my faith. I just felt God telling me to focus more on real life ministry rather than social media ministry. Ofcourse due to Covid 19 social media was all we had when we wanted to reach out to people so it was very useful for sometime. However, it is reading and meditating on the word of God that makes you a whole Christian. Doing your best to do what the word of God says and allowing the Holy spirit to minister to you. You can read "Jesus/Christian quotes" all day on social media but you must read the actual word of God for yourself. You can listen to preachers, Christian podcasts, music and even read Christian books. All those contribute to the wellbeing of your spiritual life in Christ but if you do not make time to be inte...

Foolishness

Hey guys❤ I hope that you're all well and taking care. It's been a minute. I was just in the kitchen cooking dinner when the Holy Spirit reminded me of something I once said during a Bible Study session I was having with my friends. Immediately I started singing all of my favourite worship songs, mostly the Shona Christian hymns, and yeah your girl started cryingπŸ˜‚. It's very hard to explain why I even got that emotional but anything is possible with the Holy Spirit. I guess He was just reminding me how important the topic was and that I must really take it seriously. Basically, when my friends and I have Bible Study together it's always over the phone. We usually have video calls and it has been very helpful in terms of us just helping each other grow spiritually and keeping each other accountable. We usually follow a certain book in the Bible and always end every session with one chapter from the book of Proverbs. However, as of late because things have slowly been ...

One for the ladies

The other day I had a very interesting Bible study with my friends.  PROVERBS 7 In Proverbs we see many warnings being made to men about the adulteress woman. The type of woman she is and the things she is associated with. How to identify her and how she behaves. Why do we think that men are being warned against the adulteress woman and not women being warned against the man who commits adultery? This shows kuti dzimwe nguva kutori ne problem kuside re vakadziπŸ˜‚ (this shows that sometimes there is actually a problem on the woman's side) but we stay saying #menaretrash. This also shows that there is something that is within men, a sexual desire that is stronger than that of women. This is a fact that we have to accept. That men are more visual than women. That is how they were made. In as much as they should control themselves we shouldn't tempt them. Proverbs 7:10 describes the adulteress woman in a very interesting way... "dressed like a prostitute". Why did King Sol...

Grace & Favour

Grace & Favour Queen Esther Hey Guys! I hope that you are all well and doing great. It's been a minute. Recently I started a Bible study group with my friends. We talk over the phone because we are all in different parts of the world. A different person leads each session and we are currently looking at the book of Esther. We also gave ourselves a theme for the week being "Grace and Favour". I had the honor of leading the first session and I just wanted to share with you guys some of the things that we discussed. Grace - the freely given, unmerited (undeserved) favor and love of God. the influence or spirit of God operating in humans to regenerate or strengthen them. a virtue or excellence of divine origin. In Western Christian theology, grace is "the love and mercy given to us by God because God desires us to have it, not necessarily because of anything we have done to earn it". It is not a created substance of any kind. It is an attribute of God that i...
