Foolishness

Hey guys❤ I hope that you're all well and taking care. It's been a minute. I was just in the kitchen cooking dinner when the Holy Spirit reminded me of something I once said during a Bible Study session I was having with my friends. Immediately I started singing all of my favourite worship songs, mostly the Shona Christian hymns, and yeah your girl started crying😂. It's very hard to explain why I even got that emotional but anything is possible with the Holy Spirit. I guess He was just reminding me how important the topic was and that I must really take it seriously. Basically, when my friends and I have Bible Study together it's always over the phone. We usually have video calls and it has been very helpful in terms of us just helping each other grow spiritually and keeping each other accountable. We usually follow a certain book in the Bible and always end every session with one chapter from the book of Proverbs. However, as of late because things have slowly been ...

One for the ladies

The other day I had a very interesting Bible study with my friends.  PROVERBS 7 In Proverbs we see many warnings being made to men about the adulteress woman. The type of woman she is and the things she is associated with. How to identify her and how she behaves. Why do we think that men are being warned against the adulteress woman and not women being warned against the man who commits adultery? This shows kuti dzimwe nguva kutori ne problem kuside re vakadzi😂 (this shows that sometimes there is actually a problem on the woman's side) but we stay saying #menaretrash. This also shows that there is something that is within men, a sexual desire that is stronger than that of women. This is a fact that we have to accept. That men are more visual than women. That is how they were made. In as much as they should control themselves we shouldn't tempt them. Proverbs 7:10 describes the adulteress woman in a very interesting way... "dressed like a prostitute". Why did King Sol...

Grace & Favour

Grace & Favour Queen Esther Hey Guys! I hope that you are all well and doing great. It's been a minute. Recently I started a Bible study group with my friends. We talk over the phone because we are all in different parts of the world. A different person leads each session and we are currently looking at the book of Esther. We also gave ourselves a theme for the week being "Grace and Favour". I had the honor of leading the first session and I just wanted to share with you guys some of the things that we discussed. Grace - the freely given, unmerited (undeserved) favor and love of God. the influence or spirit of God operating in humans to regenerate or strengthen them. a virtue or excellence of divine origin. In Western Christian theology, grace is "the love and mercy given to us by God because God desires us to have it, not necessarily because of anything we have done to earn it". It is not a created substance of any kind. It is an attribute of God that i...

Negative energy get away

Don't ever make people feel bad for not having the same standards as you do. Sometimes we can find ourselves being a bit judgmental of how people go about their lives without really even putting time, effort or energy into understanding them and why they do the things that they do. Instead we function based on assumption and things that we would've heard about them or the situation. It is good to have independent and unbiased opinions and conclusions of people and situations. Personally put in the effort into understanding a person or situation and don't base your opinion on what you've heard or what you assume. You'll never be able to help anyone if you aren't relatable, loving and understating.  The problem with being a judgemental person is that you forget that you are also human and are prone to making mistakes. When those mistakes are made it won't be very easy for those around you to forgive you or to be understanding of the mistakes that you would...

Is it profitable?

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. 1 Corinthians 10:23 KJV 23  You say, “I am allowed to do anything” d ]"> —but not everything is good for you. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is beneficial.   24  Don’t be concerned for your own good but for the good of others. 1 Corinthians 10:23 NLT This is a question that I've been asking myself constantly with regards to everything that I do in my life. It's a question that was placed upon my heart and in my mind as it was emphasized by a lot of the people that inspire me in Christ before the year even began. Sometimes as people we have certain things that we do. There may be certain habits, routines or relationships that we have. And sometimes there's nothing wrong with doing those things or being involved in them other than the possibility that they are a complete waste of your time. There's nothing particularl...

Authenticity is magnetic

Hey everyone I hope you're all good and having a great year so far❣ As some of you may know I recently started my own makeup artistry brand called "Miss Tory Makeup" which I've been getting so much support for and I can't thank you all enough. It means so much to me. So in this very short brief blog post I just wanted to talk a bit about makeup but from an angle you might not really expect. This post also probably relates more to girls but gents feel free to continue reading. In as much as I love makeup, I try not to neglect the natural me. I do my best to embrace her every day. It's so easy to get caught up with the fleeking eyebrows, pigmented eyeshadows and all that lovely glitter. Seeing other girls just looking so flawless and thinking "that should be my standard of beauty". When really the only fulfilling standard of beauty is to be yourself. Authenticity is magnetic. Yes I love makeup but I'll never use it as a cover up for the things ab...

God honors the good things that you ask for

Happy new year everyone❤ I wish you all a joyful, peaceful, prosperous and abundant year. Thank you so much for all the support that you've given Enameled With Grace  in the past year. I look forward to the new revelations that God has for us and I pray that he continues speaking to us in ways that we have never experienced before💫. Every once in a while my dad sits us down for a little lecture. He's not a person who comments on things but when he decides to have these little talks with us, you get humbled😂. So we spoke about what we spoke about and then he said that in closing he wanted to leave us with this, "God honors the good things that you ask for". If you read my blog you'll know that I write about the talks that I have with my dad every now and then. He explained saying that there is no way on earth that the Lord would not give you something that you've asked for as long as it is good. Psalms 84:11 For the  Lord  God is our sun and our shield....
