Having a personal relationship with God

Being born into a situation you didn't ask to be in makes it harder to embrace it. The moment you begin to embrace rather than fight where God has placed you, the family he has put you in and the people He has surrounded you with. Is the moment you come to a greater appreciation and acceptance of who you are. No matter the circumstances of that situation. Being a PK (AKA Pastors Kid) has it's highs and lows but I've reached a point where I am a Christian because I want to be a Christian. I am a Christian because I have experienced God's goodness upon my life on a personal level. Not because I'm being forced or because that is what is done in my parents house. Yes their ministry played a part in helping to understand who God is and why I need Him in my life. However, that personal decision factor is highly important because what's going to get you to heaven is your prayer life, your commitment and your love for God. Not your parents or whoever forces you to go to...

Does God allow suffering?

Hey everybody❤ I hope y'all are good. I'm sure most of us are familiar with that "Ask me a question?" feature on instagram right. So a sister of mine, Nikita (make sure to check her out on the gram @nutellaontoast.xx) started a session with the question "Biggest life Question?" . Now one of the people who responded to this sticker asked "Why does God allow suffering?" . I guess this got her thinking and she decided to hit me up saying that she'd really like to hear my view on this too. So that's when it got juicy. Please remember guys that the word of God speaks, reveals itself and inspires us differently. Everything I write on this blog is due to my own personal view on the word of God and how it speaks to and inspires me based on MY relationship with God. It's just an open place for people to layout how they feel and their views :). So my response to this topic was.... "If you are a believer of Christ then you would under...

Compromise

Compromise is the expedient acceptance of standards that are lower than is desirable. Expedient meaning convenient and practical although possibly improper or immoral. When you compromise, in terms of your faith, which is built upon the word of God it means that you have given into or chosen the things of the world over that which is of God because anything that is not of God is of this world. Compromise could be a result of: 1. Not knowing who you're living for. 2. Not knowing your worth. 3. Unwilligness or laziness. And many other reasons but I want to focus on those 3 in this particular blog post. "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever....

For His Glory

Sometimes we are born into certain life situations which leave us wondering "why?". If not born into them, we face them a bit later on in life. Recently I was talking to a good friend/sister of mine named Angel😇💕💫(be sure to check her out on the gram @angel.nakai 😂❤), and we were just coming up with possible reasons as to why we go through or face difficult things which seem almost impossible to overcome. Why God has allowed them to fall upon us and when they'll end. For example, (read John 9:1-12) Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind "As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. 2 “Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?” 3 “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him." "So the power of God could be seen in him". G...

Don't mess with God

When 2019 began, just like any other year, I had many resolutions for the year. Part of these resolutions included completing the Bible within 1 year (the Bible challenge). To be able to do this I have to read ATLEAST 5 chapters of the bible every single day. So before going any further with this message I encourage all of us to take on this challenge 😊 it's never too late to start and do your best to stay on track with the challenge. I hope all of you are good and that I find you well❤ Now to get into my message, because of this Bible challenge I have been spending a lot of time in the Old Testament. Guys😂 thank God for Jesus because he created a greater way to God and a second chance at life. The Old Testament is so deep. Try not to read the Bible as if it is a story book, instead get into it a bit deeper and meditate on His word day and night🙏🏾. The Old Testament and the bible in general is extremely factual. In the Old Testament...
